Protocol-dependent menu items

Menu items can be designated as being for consumption by Gopher or by HTTP clients only. This is indicated by the presence of gopheronly or httponly values in the Attribute field. Use of the Hname or URLlink keywords implies that the item is solely for HTTP clients. If the Attribute field contains the value gnlink, it indicates that the remote server program specified by the Host and Port fields is also a GN server, and permits link information passed back to clients to incorporate GN Gopher extensions.

The document is mainly of historical interest as obviously many of the sites mentioned have long since disappeared.
