Horizontal rules

The HR element has had four new attributes added to give control over the appearance of the horizontal rule.

SIZE
The desired thickness of the horizontal rule in pixels.

WIDTH
The desired width of the rule; either absolutely, in pixels; or if a percent sign follows the number, relatively, as a percentage of the page width. The default, if the width is unspecified, is to have a rule the same width as the page.

ALIGN
Used in conjunction with the WIDTH attribute, where a width less than that of the page has been specified.

NOSHADE
The rule should be a completely solid bar.

The document is mainly of historical interest as obviously many of the sites mentioned have long since disappeared.
