Ghostscript

Ghostscript is a PostScript interpreter written in C by L. Peter Deutsch of Aladdin Enterprises. As well as being able to display PostScript files on an X display and print to various non-PostScript printers, it can also be used to create bitmap files from PostScript. Two versions are available under different licensing arrangements. Consult the documentation accompanying each distribution for precise details. Both are available free of charge from:

ftp://prep.ai.mit.edu/pub/gnu/ghostscript-2.6.1.tar.gz

ftp://ftp.cs.wisc.edu/pub/ghost/aladdin/ghostscript-3.0.tar.gz
