Global Network Navigator

Global Network Navigator is an innovative venture in electronic publishing: a commercial Web magazine with a professional editorial team, produced by O'Reilly & Associates, Inc., a publisher of technical books best known for their X Window System and UNIX books.

Specially designed for the Web, Global Network Navigator is well known among Web users as one of the most imaginative examples of what can be achieved in the medium. It is published quarterly, and contains a mix of advertising and articles by various writers on network topics, with embedded hypertext links to other Web resources. Access for Web users is free of charge, but companies must pay to advertise in the magazine.
